This stunning and imposing 18th Century manor house, set in several hundred acres of rural Hertfordshire, was designed by Sir James Thornhill. The manor boasts not one, but two full 18-hole golf courses within its land. The high course has hosted a number of professional tournaments, and presents a stiff challenge for most players. Tennis is also played within the manor grounds. There are seven grass courts, three astro-turf and three tarmac courts. In addition to offering golf and tennis, the house itself is used for business meetings and wedding receptions.
