The Museum of Zoology houses an extensive collection of scientifically important zoological material designated as being of outstanding national and international significance by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (formerly Re:source). The specimens are displayed in two galleries. The display layout corresponds with their use in teaching modules of University courses, which draw extensively on the collections. The museum is a popular attraction in Cambridge and contains an enormous amount of high quality exhibits.
