This museum is manned entirely buy volunteers and is usually only open throughout the summer months. The museum has its foundations at the end of the Second World War when ex-members of the Royal navy Patrol Service got together to protect and preserve much of the rich history of the organisation. There is an extensive collection on display that includes some fascinating boating pieces and associated artefacts.
