Norwich Arts Centre is an intimate venue that is independently run and situated close to the centre of Norwich. Originally opened in a disused department store on St Benedict’s Street in 1977, in 1980 it moved to St Swithin’s Church on St Benedict’s Street where it is now based. The Centre was developed with the aid of a capital grant from the National Lottery in 1999 and specialises in exhibiting photography and new media work. It also hosts live music and has established itself as a major venue.
