Norwich Playhouse is situated sitting beside the River Wensum along St. Georges Street in Norwich, just a small walk from the city centre. The theatre has been developed from an old maltings that were built 150 years ago when there was a large brewing industry in Norwich. It is a small and intimate venue with only 300 seats that specialises in bringing in high-quality touring drama, dance, music and comedy. Before or after the show, the Playhouse bar provides a wonderful place to relax with its riverside location.
