Octavia Hill was an English social reformer in the 19th Century. Her prime concern was with the welfare of the inhabitants of major cities in the second half of the century, and took a particular interest in the people of London. This is her house and birthplace, which today is dedicated to the work of the great woman, and the way that she managed to change things in the city.
