Oscar Stewart was a surgeon at the hospital, and is the man responsible for starting this collection. The exhibitions are related to the history of medicine, and in particular surgery, both here at this hospital and across the country. On display is a vast range of artefacts and implements, including original pieces that were used in Victorian operating theatres.
