Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church is a beautiful and elegant building on the outskirts of Rickmansworth town centre. The exterior of the building is made up of blockwork at the corners, and the main walls are covered with a mixture of local stones, including flint. There is a main tower toward the front which is an unusual octagonal design and is neatly covered in slate. An entrance porch has been added over the years, which contrasts the stone exterior with its white paint and exposed wooden beams. There are many interesting facets to the interior too, and the church is well worth a visit.
