Pakenham Watermill is Suffolk’s last working watermill and open to the public. The mill is found about 6 miles east of Bury St Edmunds hidden in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Suffolk countryside. Now owned by Suffolk Preservation Trust, this 18th Century mill is a unique historical landmark and a popular attraction for mill enthusiasts because of its working status. Wholemeal flour ground at the mill is on sale along with refreshments at the small teashop.
