This wonderful theatre in the heart of busy Watford, is an Edwardian Grade II listed building. The theatre includes 2 licensed bars, a daytime cafe, a lift, access ramps and automatic front-doors. Its doors first opened to the public in 1908 as a music hall, and was then called Watford Palace of Varieties. Today's theatre produces 9 shows a year, each one playing for a three-week period. Annually the theatre entertains over 100,000 visitors, a fact it is especially proud of. The plays range from classics to comedies, and visitors are sure to appreciate the entire experience.
