This attractive church can be found at the end of the winding Church Lane, perched above the Buckinghamshire village of Great Missenden. It dates from the 14th Century but shows alterations and additions right up to the present day. Points of interest include the 12th Century font, the medieval floor tiles and carved caricatures on the nave pillars. The tower was extended in the 16th Century and is constructed from pieces of the medieval Abbey which was demolished in the reformation. Local writer Roald Dahl is buried in the churchyard.
