The River Bure is one the busiest rivers in Britain. Navigable for over 30 miles, it carries yachts, cruisers and speedboats through the heart of the Norfolk Broads. En route are Wroxham, the capital of the broads, Halvergate Marshes, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and Breydon Water, Great Yarmouth’s massive tidal estuary, where it meets the Rivers Yare and Waveney, and flows with them into the North Sea.
