Henry Blogg lived from 1876 until 1954, and became the most decorated lifeboat operator for the RNLI in this time. He was awarded three gold medals and four silver medals for gallantry by the RNLI as well as the George Cross and the British Empire Medal. This new museum was opened in 2006 and illustrates with reference to a great many models, artefacts and photographs the lives of the lifeboat operators in Cromer, and tells more about the heroics of Blogg.
