A former workhouse is now home to the Roots of Norfolk museum at Gressenhall. Dedicated to village and rural life of yesteryear Norfolk, this museum gives a fascinating look back in time to the rich agricultural background of the county. A great place to take the kids, there is also a children’s play area, gardens, café, riverside and woodland trails. The fifty acres of grounds also include a farm with a number of rare breeds and working horses.
