The Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum can be found near to Norwich Castle in the Shirehall which dates back to the early 1830s. The Royal Norfolk Regiment was formed in 1685 and served around the world in various campaigns. The museum plots the history of this regiment with a varied and fascinating collection of military equipment and photographic displays as well as the, sometimes bizarre, things the troops bought home. The medal collection contains examples of every campaign and gallantry medal awarded and include two Victoria Crosses.
