Rye Meads Nature Reserve is owned and operated by the RSPB and is in the heart of the Lea Valley. The reserve is home to a large array of native and migrating birds that thrive in the unspoilt marchlands around Hoddesdon. There are many nature walks that visitors can enjoy as well as hides, where more serious ornithologists can watch and photograph the birds and animals from.
