This wildlife park started life in 1979 as a private animal sanctuary after an injured Jackdaw was taken in by a local builder. By 1984 the collection had become too large to be privately funded and the park was opened to the public as a wildlife park. Since that time the park has become renowned as one of the finest in the region, with a commitment to conservation projects across the world. The park has a wide and eclectic variety of animals on show.
