This beautiful windmill was originally constructed in 1877 and has been restored in recent times using English Heritage funding. The windmill is one of the finest examples in the area of a six-storey mill with complete gears and sails intact. The mill is in operation and visitors are welcome to observe it grind flour and can even purchase some of the organic stone ground flour that it produces.
