From its beautiful sea-front location, Southend Marine Activities Centre has been offering an impressive selection of water sports for 25 years. They include canoeing, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing and powerboat driving, with introductory and advanced courses available. Visitors with reduced mobility, vision or hearing are welcome, but children must be at least nine years old to participate. The Centre was modernized and extended in 2005, and new facilities include bathrooms and showers.
