Southwold Beach Huts
Southwold, Suffolk IP18 6BN - England, UK

Map
Southwold is probably more famous for its beach huts than for anything else. Much photographed and much sought after, these glorified sheds can cost almost as much as a full-sized house. Most of today’s colourful huts date from between the wars, but the original huts were built during Edwardian times when it was illegal to get changed in public. One of the huts appeared in the film ‘Iris’, which starred Dame Judi Dench and Jim Broadbent.
