For well over a millennium this grand old church has served the small and delightfully beautiful village of Hadstock on the border between Essex and Cambridgeshire. The church stands next to the historic Icknield Way, an ancient Roman pathway that travels much of the length of the area. The church is famed for having the oldest door still to be known to be in use of any building in the entire country. It is a working church and home to a small and interesting community.
