This 12th Century church stands towering over the surrounding village of Eaton in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir. The church was originally built around 1180 although the north aisle dates from the 16th century and the roof is probably from the 14th century. The church is notable for its imposing stature and also contains some carved gargoyle faces. As with most churches in the surrounding area, this one is constructed of ironstone which has weathered over the centuries, giving the building an attractive rustic look.
