Constructed in 1868, St Mary's Church in Woburn is a fine example of a 19th Century church built in the Continental Gothic style of the 13th Century. It replaced the 'Old' St Mary's Church on Bedford Street, which is now the site of the Woburn Heritage Centre, and showcases four stained glass windows as well as a gothic interior designed by Henry Clutton. St Mary's Church is best known for its scary gargoyles that adorn the 110ft high bell tower. How many can you spot?
