The 14th Century brick-vaulted refectory undercroft is the most impressive remain of this priory, once an important seat of religious power and learning in Norfolk. In later centuries the refectory was occupied as a cottage and people lived there until 1902. The site is overseen by English Heritage and shows many of the classic features that one would expect from a country Augustinian priory of medieval roots.
