One of Ipswich's smaller churches, St Pancras was meant to be much bigger. In fact, the church is actually the chancel of what was meant to be a cathedral but never finished. It was started in 1861 by George Goldie. Interesting features include a modern west window showing the Holy Sprit descending and an impressive interior with interesting brick and tile work. The church is one of the most popular in Ipswich and open every day.
