The art of making stained glass has been practiced in Britain for well over thirteen hundred years, and this museum is one of the only in the world to be entirely dedicated to the practice. There are pieces on display that have been rescued from Ely Cathedral, as well as many other significant places of worship across the world throughout the centuries. The museum tells the story of stained glass, the people involved and the way that styles have changed in time.
