Stamford Museum offers visitors the chance to learn more about ‘the finest stone in England’ amongst other items of interest. The unique Stamford Tapestry is one of the many interesting artefacts on display here, where you can learn more about the long and illustrious history of the borough. Other exhibits are related to Spitfire aircraft, Sir Malcolm Sargent and the filming of Middlemarch.
