Stowe is made up of over two hundred and fifty acres of beautiful parkland and countryside estate. The area is filled with ornamental lakes, open grassy spaces and wooded valley, within which there are over forty monuments and small temples. This is without a doubt one of the most spectacular Georgian gardens in the region. The restoration programme started in 1989 and continues today.
