The Collection is one of the region’s newest museums and cost over £12 million to build and open in 2005. The main exhibition is a permanent one that displays the best of Lincolnshire’s archaeology from the Neolithic period to the Industrial Age. The museum also has temporary exhibitions and a lecture theatre, where pre-booked seminars with historical topics are held for the public. The museum has a café, a shop, full disabled access and interactive activities for children.
