The Cut is a community arts centre. Housed in a converted maltings, it is the only large community arts centre in this area, outside Ipswich and Norwich. Facilities include: a gallery with a café bar; a 220-seat auditorium; a dance hall and a workshop. A varied programme of events includes art exhibitions, theatre, music, film and cabaret. Visitors can also join classes. Tai Chi, urban jazz dance, Pilates, Spanish, creative writing and painting are just some of them.
