The Gibberd Gallery is a light, modern and spacious purpose-built exhibition space which is open free of charge to the general public. Its permanent exhibition includes the important personal collection of 20th Century British watercolours bequeathed to the town by Harlow’s master planner Sir Frederick Gibberd. It regularly houses touring exhibitions in association with various Arts bodies. Recent temporary exhibitions have included works by Peter Blake and Picasso, both part of the Hayward Gallery’s touring programme.
