Marriotts Warehouse, situated on the waterfront at Kings Lynn, was built around 1570 and was originally used to store goods such as coal and corn, before being shipped inland. The building was used as a corn store up until the 1960’s, but following renovation, now houses The Green Quay discovery centre for visitors to discover many interesting facts about The Wash, its history, uses and the wildlife. The ground floor houses a licensed café with both indoor and outdoor seating with wonderful river views.
