Founded in 1980, The John Russell Gallery moved to its current home, beside Ipswich Waterfront, in 1994. Specializing in the work of the many contemporary artists living in East Anglia, the gallery has featured, among others, Jan Pawlowicz, Michael Coulter, Julie Giles, Julie Noad and Carol Sinclair. As well as paintings, the gallery stocks many unframed limited edition prints. The Gallery's Artone cafe serves freshly ground coffee, leaf tea and other refreshments.
