The Thursford Collection is a step back in time. Essentially it is a museum of mechanical organs, steam engines and fairground rides set in the sleepy Norfolk village of Thursford, just outside Fakenham. Dickensian style gift shops, ice cream parlour, coffee-tea shop and famous Christmas gift shop all occupy traditional Norfolk farm buildings. Between November and December the large exhibition hall is transformed into a theatre for the "largest Christmas Spectacular Show in England". Resident organist Robert Wolfe also provides daily musical shows on the Wurlitzer Cinema organ.
