The Usher Gallery, once an independent site, is now incorporated into The Collection, which is situated next door. It was founded in 1927 when James Ward Usher bequeathed his collection of decorative art to the city. This collection contains many beautiful objects including landscapes by Turner and Lowry, and a vase by Grayson Perry. Set in its attractive grounds, the gallery offers complete disabled access, including parking and a café.
