Tiggywinkles is Britain’s only wildlife veterinary teaching hospital and treats hundreds of sick and injured wild animals every year. The visitor centre gives an insight into the work of the hospital and how we can all care for the wildlife of the British Isles. Features include the badger and fox enclosures, deer paddock and butterfly garden. There is also a children’s play area, snack bar and gift shop. The hospital itself is not open to the public, but visitors can view the care and veterinary treatment given to animals via CCTV and video displays.
