This spectacular Victorian building was built in 1868. Today it is home to The Town Hall Galleries, opened in 2006. Gallery One offers a programme of contemporary arts, featuring local and foreign artists. Gallery Two showcases contemporary design in collaboration with The Suffolk Craft Society. The Activity and Art Store sells quality jewellery, textiles, ceramics, glass and furniture. Gallery Three is a museum, with collections covering Ipswich's recent past and community heritage.
