Penn War Memorial is one of the central focuses of the small community in rural Buckinghamshire. Although just a simple monument, it expresses the extreme gratitude that is felt by the people of the village to not only the people of the village who lost their lives, but the people of the world who stood up and were counted to defend freedom and democracy in the 20th Century.
