Watford Football Club is home to the Hornets, and has been on Vicarage Road in Watford ever since 1922. The club itself was formed in 1881 and was known then as Watford Rovers. The stadium has a capacity in excess of 22,000, spread over four main stands called the Rous stand, the Rookery, the East stand, and the Vicarage Road stand. The club has a good atmosphere and a very loyal fan base. Families attend the matches and visitors can expect to be entertained. There is also a gift and souvenir shop within the grounds.
