Waxham Great Barn can be found sitting proudly along the B1159 road between Horsey and Sea Palling in North Norfolk. The barn was built in around 1570 as a display of wealth and, at 180 feet long, is the biggest in Norfolk. The building includes materials from three local dissolved and disintegrating priories following the Dissolution in the 1530s. Its roof feature tie beams and hammer beams and the walls have coursed flint decorated with diamond patterned brickwork. Entrance to the barn is via tickets from the cafe.
