Woburn Abbey is one of England's most majestic stately homes. Set within a 3,000-acre deer park the Abbey has been home to the Dukes of Bedford for over 400 years. Today, whilst still a private home, parts of the Abbey are open to the public. Visitors are welcome to explore the richly decorated rooms and discover the fine collections of paintings, furniture and porcelain on display at the Abbey. There are vaults showcasing items of silver and gold too, including some silver gilt teapots and sets of gold candlesticks.
