This small and friendly museum has been designed to reflect the history of the town and some of its most famous residents who include Thomas Seckford and Edward Fitzgerald. There is a permanent Anglo-Saxon exhibit that tells visitors about the discoveries made at Sutton-Hoo close by. There are also exhibits that relate to the life and times of the painter Thomas Churchyard, showing some of his influential works.
