Next to the castle, the Camera Obscura and World of Illusions play visual tricks on mind and imagination. Opened in the 19th century, the “Eye in the Sky” is situated at the top of the tower and projects the image of the city onto a large disc in a tiny, dark room. Other oddities include Europe's largest hologram display and 3D views. Also enjoy this roof with a spectacular view over Edinburgh.
