Heriot Watt University is based on the edge of Edinburgh and has a fine museum within it that features a great deal of historic artefacts and artworks that have been collected over a period of many centuries. The collections are open to the public, and some of them are related to the history of the local area and the founders of the institution, whereas others are relevant to certain subjects taught here.
