The official Scottish residence of Her Majesty the Queen is based in the huge public Holyrood Park at the end of the Royal Mile, opposite the Scottish Parliament, near Our Dynamic Earth and Arthur’s Seat. The palace was also home of Mary, Queen of Scots. The visitor can expect a tour through the State Apartments including the Great Gallery and will be impressed by artworks, Brussel tapestry, furniture and a luxurious atmosphere.
