Underneath the Royal Mile lies this 5 star visitor attraction, dating back to the 1600s. It is the site of the historic remains of underground old streets and houses, which were knocked down in 1753 to develop the Royal Exchange. On the tour, the lives of ordinary people will be explained by the character guide along with more emotional stories, for example on how the gravediggers dealt with the plague.
