North Berwick Law is a 613 foot high volcanic crag which can be seen for miles around. Climb to the top and you will be rewarded with stunning views of East Lothian and the coast. You can also explore a ruined watchtower built in 1803 during the Napoleonic wars when fears of a French invasion were at their peak. An unusual landmark at the top is a striking arch fashioned from a replica jaw bone of a whale, the original whale bone having been removed due to safety fears.
