Rest Bay faces south-west. The beach front is wide, flat and clean, the firm golden sands sweep up to a rocky shoreline backed by acres of common land it offers the perfect place to relax. Parking is plentiful, but this popular beach location does get busy in the Summer months. The beach is popular with surfers and windsurfers having been awarded the Blue Flag for beaches in previous years. There’s plenty to do and see in the surrounding area, such as Porthcawl town centre, harbour and promenade. There’s even a road train to the local fun fair.
