This museum is concerned with the way that people have dealt with living in the rural environs of much of Scotland throughout the centuries. The exhibition is wide ranging and looks at various aspects of rural life that include farming, housing, social and political issues that come to the fore. There is a vast collection, made up of documents and artefacts on display, as well as a coffee shop and gift shop.
