This beautiful country park was established in the early 1970s and has since that time been enjoyed by local people and visitors as one of the finest areas of green land in the region. Within the park, visitors will be treated to an extensive rare breeds collection which includes Eriskay ponies, North Ronaldsay sheep and Shetland cattle. This sheltered environment also attracts rare birds, especially sparrowhawks.
